Bad luck Bay but be proud of your efforts. The year before I got married Colwyn Bay and Hyde were relegated together and last year my marriage ended and the year after what happens. No likey.

Cheers Tim for all the excellent updates throughout the season, personally I hope Gus stays on as Manager and gets the players he wants for next season with the core of what's here now, Williams, Hopley, Lea, Noone, Sanna,Obi, Buckley and a couple more. The attendances won't change much next season, probably get better if we manage to win a few at home and nearer the top, looking for promotion or in the play offs. Hopefully no off the field problems this summer and we can all look forward to a new season in the Northern Premier league.
Up the Seagulls and thanks again Tim for the match reports !!!!

The BBC appear to have mistakenly counted a Gainsborough goal that was disallowed when the score was 4-3. The league website confims a 4-4 draw and Stalybridge survive on goal difference.

Rumours flying around tonight that North Ferriby could be pulling out of the league for financial reasons and dropping two divisions. If true, that could possibly mean a reprieve for the Bay?
Oxford City were reprieved last season after finishing third bottom when Vauxhall Motors dropped out.

Rumours at NFU that all players have been released and have asked to be relegated, Colwyn Bay likely to be reprieved Farnborough in South section only got 30 points to Bay's 45.As an Avenue fan I hope it is true after they couldn't even make sure the minute's silence was undertaken today.

I tuned in to here to read the results late this afternoon and was absolutely gutted.
We cant ask any more of the team than to go away on the last day of the season and to score 5 goals. Unfortunately we couldn't even manage a single goal last weekend against Lowestoft, which was a game that we should have gone out all guns blazing.
One point would have kept us up. And now we all wait anxiously to find out what the current update will be with North Ferriby.
I really hoped the Bay would stay up, especially with this new non league set up that comes in to play next season, would be fantastic for the club.

Many thanks Tim for providing us all with your commentary every game, I really do enjoy keeping up to date this way and your running commentary makes it almost real. So big thanks from me here in Swansea.
I hope you all enjoy your summer and I will keep an eye on here from time to time, until next season starts and we go all over again.
