Bay get a free kick to launch into the Workington area, but it is easily cleared.
Chris Sharp's run brings Bay's first corner on 56 minutes and Hopley's header is palmed behind by the keeper for a second corner. That produces a goalmouth scramble from another Hopley header, but Workington finally get the ball clear.
Bay Sub: Cory Williams is on for Brewster 58 minutes.

Another home defeat. Colwyn Bay played well for the first ten or fifteen  minutes and should have scored, but struggled to create anything apart from free kicks and corners after that
Too many aimless long balls in the end, but then that was inevitable because  every time the Bay tried to build an attack with shorter passes, they inevitably ended up losing possession.

Goodbye Chris Sanna

As one player arrives another goes
Can I wish Chris Sanna much success and thanks for everything he did for The Bay.
i understand that Chris has left the club, despite denials from the directors.
He has served the club well over many years and deserves a better send off than the one he got.
the Bay fans will always welcome you back.
Ex Chairmen David Messom, Bob Paton, and President Roger Skinner wish you all the best
