HALF-TIME: Colwyn Bay 0 Hyde United 0
Bay keeper Shaun Pearson had race back and kick the ball off the line after a wayward back pass by Gaz Grant threatened an own goal, and just before half-time Pearson made an excellent close range save from an Andy Bishop header. Hyde looking the more threatening side with a volley by Luke Denson a foot over the bar being Bay's best effort.

GOOOAAALLL FOR SEAGULLS image
The Hyde keeper does well to get a hand to a Danny Andrews shot, diving to his right, but LIAM TURNER slides in to turn the loose ball it into the net on 62 minutes for his first goal for the club. 1-0

FULL TIME: Colwyn Bay 1 Hyde United 0 image
The Seagulls are through to the next round of the FA Trophy thanks to Liam Turner's goal - and a little bit of luck with Hyde hitting the bar and the post in the second half and having a goal disallowed for offside.
Shaun Pearson also made a couple of good saves to keep his third clean sheet in six games.

THE Bay are now at home to Witton Albion in the next round after a ROB HOPLEY hat-trick helped them beat Brighouse Town 5-2.
