Colwyn Bay ended a 12-match winless run with a long-awaited victory that saw Lancaster City knocked off the top of the table by Farsley Celtic on goal difference.
Jamie Rainford put the Seagulls ahead with a goal from the edge of the area on 20 minutes and his astuite header from Will Booth's diagonal ball into the area, was volleyed home by Danny Bartle for Bay's second goal two minutes into the second half.
Keeper Kieran Wolland then saved a Jordan Connerton penalty to help his side avoid an anxious last ten minutes and Lancaster's frustration boiled over with subsitute Louis Mayers getting a straight red card on 88 minutes for an off the ball incident.
