THE Seagulls never recovered from conceding two goals in the opening 12 minutes and ended up suffering a hugely disappointing 3-0 defeat to fourth-bottom Radcliffe.
Danny Burns gave the home the lead inside the first two minutes and Lewis Reilly got a second ten miniutes later after  keeper Kieran Wolland made a hash of an attempted clearance kick.
The Bay also lost Gaz Grant after 17 minutes with a recurrance of his knee injury and the team struggled to get a foothold in the game before the break, although Jamie Rainford was denied a goal by a flying one handed save from home keeper Kris Leigh.
Colwyn Bay played better in the second half without any luck as Rainford had a goal disallowed for a debatable offside decision, Wrren Bellew hit the bar and Astley Mulholland had a strong penalty shout waved away. The keeper also made two of three more good saves to earn himself the Man opf the Match award.
Radcliffe then killed the game off with a third goal 80 minutes, with Wolland getting a big hand on Lewis Reilly's shot but couldn't keep it out.
